Camstar Clears the Air: Denies Dissing Jae Cash and Dizmo in Latest Freestyle

Zambian hip-hop artist Camstar has recently addressed the controversy surrounding his latest release, “Something Special (Freestyle).” The track sparked rumors and misunderstandings, with many speculating that Camstar was taking shots at fellow rappers Jae Cash and Dizmo. In response to the growing buzz, Camstar took to his Facebook page to clarify the situation.

In his statement, Camstar  expressed disappointment over the misinterpretations of his freestyle. He emphasized that the track was not a diss aimed at Jae Cash or Dizmo, nor was it a response to the song “LSK Running.” Camstar revealed that the verse Jae Cash used in “LSK Running” was originally intended for a remix of Camstar‘s song “Reporting Live from Lusaka,” but it was never released due to issues with the producer, DJ H-Mac. Camstar further clarified that he was never signed to New Age, the label associated with the feud, and that his intention was to avoid unnecessary conflicts with fellow artists he considers brothers. He ended his message by declaring that “Burg on Burg Crime” is prohibited, reinforcing his desire to maintain peace within the Lusaka music scene.
